"A Rooster" is one of the most realistic paintings I've done so far. It used to hang in On Common Grounds (coffee house) until they closed. I remember some kooky, hippie chick asking me, "What were you thinking when you painted this?" I laughed to myself. I wasn't thinking in terms of synbolism or whatever her half baked brain was wondering, I was trying to make the feathers look like feathers!!! It's "A Rooster", not "The Soul of Modern Man"!!! Anyway I sold this one to Jason. He's the bass player in the band
Aqualads. Surf Music.
